A QR safety tag is a small sticker with a QR code. When someone scans it, a page opens with buttons to call or message your family. With Hifazat you make one free. The QR holds only a random link, so no personal details are printed on it.

Questions about safety tags

Yes. You can create separate tags for different people in your family account, each with their own contacts and privacy settings. Pause or replace a tag independently when it is no longer needed, and test the public page before attaching a printed copy.

Yes. Download an A4 PDF or PNG, choose 3 cm, 5 cm or 8 cm, and print at actual size. Test each QR before use. Paper and printing may cost money through your own provider. Keep the contact details current and replace damaged stickers.

The QR uses error correction level Q to help it remain readable after some damage. A badly damaged tag may not scan. Replace worn stickers and test them regularly. Keep another way to reach family if a QR cannot be scanned. Damage tolerance is not a promise that every worn tag remains readable.

A copy opens the same page with only the information you allowed. Pause the tag or choose Make a new link if you no longer want that link to work. Then print the replacement. Contact apps can reveal your chosen number. Keep public notes limited to necessary details and check every printed copy after replacement.

Yes. Edit your tag and save the new contact details. The printed QR still opens the same tag unless you make a new link. Test the contact buttons after saving changes and keep a separate family contact plan in case a finder cannot load the page.
