About Hifazat
Hifazat is a free family safety tool by Qawex. It lets a guardian make a printable QR safety tag for a child, a blind or low vision person or an elderly family member. Anyone who scans the tag can contact the family in 1 tap. Guardians can also add SOS alerts and live location.
Hifazat, a free family safety tool by Qawex, offers tags and family contact tools for children, blind or low vision people and elders. The related first aid site is firstaid.qawex.com. Founder details, a verified contact address and the launch date have not yet been supplied by Qawex.
Hifazat is for families with children, blind or low vision people and elderly family members. Guardians choose what a helper can see. Adults and elders must accept before any location is shared. Hifazat does not replace adult supervision or emergency services.
Public guidance is currently in English. The scan experience also includes Urdu and Roman Urdu text chosen in the tag settings, with an English option. These scan translations do not mean every account or guidance page is translated. Read aloud also depends on the voices available on the particular device.
Tags and scanning
The QR code contains only a random web link, like hifazat.qawex.com/t/8f3k2xqa. It does not contain a name, phone number, address or any other personal detail. Your details stay on Hifazat, and you choose what a person who scans the tag can see.
You can pause or delete any tag from your dashboard in a few seconds. A paused tag shows a neutral page with no details, so a lost tag cannot lead anyone to your family. You can then print a new tag that has a new link.
The helper does not need a Hifazat app or account. A phone camera can open the QR link in the browser. An active tag then shows the contact actions its owner permits. Internet access is needed to load the page, and calls or messages depend on the helper’s available apps.
Paper and ink can become damaged by water. Use suitable waterproof sticker paper or laminate the tag, and test it with your phone before use. A tag that cannot be scanned may not help a finder contact family. Keep a separate contact plan and replace a damaged sticker.
You can print copies of the same tag link for more than 1 item. Each copy opens the same contact page and shares the same status. Pausing, replacing or deleting that link affects every printed copy. Use separate tags when you need different contacts, notes or independent control over each item.
SOS alerts
Hold the SOS button for 2 seconds to record a request for help in the family space. Accepted guardians can see the alert and record its resolution. Internet access is needed, and email delivery remains pending sender setup. SOS does not call emergency services or guarantee a family response.
Yes. The owner can invite guardians by email, and access begins only after the matching account accepts the invitation. Accepted guardians can read shared family alerts and resolve SOS events. Each account has its own read state. Email delivery remains pending, so guardians should check the private family space.
No. Hifazat records family alerts but does not contact emergency services. In an emergency, call the verified local number for your current location. A family member may miss an alert or be unable to respond. Keep a direct way to seek help and do not replace supervision with an app.
A phone that is offline cannot send a new family SOS or location update. Browser and battery limits can also interrupt sharing. Do not assume an unsent alert will reach family later. Check the visible result, and use a direct call or local emergency service when immediate help is needed.
Live location
Live location works while the Hifazat page is open on the person’s phone and sharing is active. Permission, signal, battery settings and browser limits can interrupt updates. Check the time on the last position before using it. A stale position is not a current location, and sharing can be paused or stopped.
Yes. Adults and elders must agree on their own phone before location sharing begins, then allow browser location access. For a child under your care, authorize setup and keep the sharing notice visible. Anyone can pause or stop sharing. Never use a device invitation to follow someone without their agreement.
Location records older than 30 days are removed by an hourly cleanup, so deletion can occur up to 1 hour after that limit. The map shows the last 24 hours rather than the full retained period. Permitted family members can delete history earlier through the private family space.
Yes. Pause or Stop sharing is available on the Person page, and the owner can revoke the device invitation. These controls stop future location updates; they do not make an old map position current. Existing history can be deleted from the family space by a person with permitted family access.
Privacy and children
A child’s public scan page does not show the child’s name, school, home address or plain phone number. The QR code holds only the tag link. Contact apps can reveal the chosen family number when opened. Review optional notes before saving them, since permitted notes can appear to a helper.
No. The QR holds only the web link to a saved tag, not profile details, a phone number or coordinates. The link opens the public contact page when the tag is active. Changing a contact does not require printing a new QR, while replacing the link makes old copies inactive.
Qawex has not yet confirmed the final data sale policy or completed the privacy review. This page should not be treated as a completed legal promise. Review the current privacy information before sharing optional details. Keep public notes limited to what a helper actually needs to contact family.
A verified reporting email is not yet available, and the contact form remains an unsent draft. If a tag you own is lost or misused, pause it, replace its link or delete it from your family space. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services directly rather than waiting for Hifazat.
Accounts and cost
Yes. Hifazat, a free family safety tool by Qawex, lets you create tags, download print files and use family alerts without a service charge. Paper, printing, mobile data and calls can still have costs from your own providers. A tag is an extra contact option, not a replacement for supervision.
An account is needed to save and manage your tags, family invitations and location settings. A helper can open an active public tag without signing in. The family checklist does not require an account and clears its answers when reloaded. Keep account access private and review who receives guardian invitations.
Open Settings in your private family space and use the account deletion control. The app asks for explicit confirmation before deleting the account and its owned family records. Save anything you need first, since this is not a pause. Printed tag links become inactive when their saved tags are removed.
You can pause or delete any tag from your dashboard in a few seconds. A paused tag shows a neutral page with no details, so a lost tag cannot lead anyone to your family. You can then print a new tag that has a new link.
